Lesson Activity Idea #1--Anticipatory Set

What ideas do we have in creating some sort of anticipatory set for the lesson? Some early suggestions were to have some phrases that the other students in the class could work on "translating" into phrases that emphasize more self-agency or look at the difference between a set of different phrases.

    I believe our class's discussion about culture relevant teaching would be helpful! I think this is a good idea because it will help participants think about their language use and the how it affects students.

    I really like this idea. It's something we could be brainstorming on our own now, and then we could compose a list when we meet.
